In this part, you have four people's opinions on one topic.
You need to read all their opinions and then choose who said what for 7 questions. You must answer each question
PERSON A I have worked as a teacher for as long as I can remember. Since I was a kid I was showing my siblings how to do things because I am the oldest one. Once I made it an actual job it just felt like natural. It was what I was supposed to do. I teach English to toddlers and I love my job. It is actually a lot of fun. We learn songs, do little performances and decorate the classroom. Teaching them is one of the most fulfilling jobs ever.
PERSON B I worked as a salesman for a while but I couldn’t stand the long hours. That is why I decided to shift my career and I took a teaching position. Teaching is fine, I have never had a defined vocation so it suits me. What I love is the hours I work and the long holidays. I feel so relaxed after a long break and I have plenty of time for myself. I know I will never make a lot of money in this job but I have accepted that. Since then my mental health is better.
PERSON C This is my last year teaching before I retire. I have been part of the college's faculty for 35 years now. I worked really hard to get here and I must say it has been great. One of the drawbacks of teaching large classes is that you never get to know your students. Looking back, I would have loved to teach some workshops or seminars so I could get closer to them. I am looking forward to my retirement party, though, someone said that a group of alumni might be coming over to celebrate!
PERSON D There were some things that initially I did not like about teaching. The teenagers are a lot of work. They complain and they never pay attention to what I am saying. I got to my class full of motivation and they were just not interested about what I had to say. However, little by little, I learned how to talk them into doing some homework and now I have been voted best teacher of the year. What I love most about teaching is that you never stop learning.
